What does your courier deliver?
Is it just your goods / cargo?
Do they confuse KPIs with KFC? do there eyes just glaze over? Do they look at their shoe when you mention carbon footprint?
Often a deliver consists of more than just moving your items from location ‘A’ to location ‘B’. It may need extra wrapping, packing or strapping. It goes without saying you will expect to get peace of mind and great customer service.
But what if you don’t? Then it really is time to get a new courier, the ‘cheap’ one you are using can do more than lose your goods, it affects your companies reputation.
You need to have your goods delivered
- on time
- in one piece
- by someone smart and presentable
- as green and efficiently as possible
- and by some who will communicate if there is a problem
- and suggest solutions to that problem
If you are not getting at least the above, you may as well do it yourself.
