Talk like a pirate day, deliver like a pirate…

As a discerning customer there are things that you should notice that indicates you haven’t had your goods delivered by a courier, but by a pirate instead…
Talk like a pirate day
Clothes is a good starting point, if they are not clean, tidy and don’t look an extension of your company, the chances are they are a pirate.

Their logo or vehicle branding is also a clear indicator of the kind of service you will get, like pirates, some couriers don’t fly their own flag and you have to take a chance that they are who they say they are. If you are not sure, ask for ID, do you really want a pirate sailing off into the sunset with your valuable goods?

Payment can also be a sign or a pirate and not a professional courier, have you tried to pay your invoices in pieces of eight lately? Did the Bank look at you strangely when you tried to exchange your pounds? Many couriers take cheques, bankers drafts, Bacs, credit cards, Paypal and cash for payments of their invoices, if your courier asks for payment something else (like Western Union), it may be because they are a pirate in disguise….

If your goods arrive wet, sodden and damaged, you really need to give us a call right now on 0844 884 3331 because your courier, I mean pirate is really taking advantage of you. Call soon or you could find you are walking the plank!

Avast me hearties, it’s time to get pillaging, I mean delivering…

Have a great Talk Like a Pirate Day 2008.

Sarah

Definitely couriers, not pirates
