How can you be sure of Delivery?

by Kevin Arrow on February 18, 2009

Thousands of undelivered items of mail have been found stored in an Essex garage, police said.

Essex police made the discovery at a property in the village of Vange, near Basildon, earlier in the week.  Source :BBC

Same day courier services rarely miss a delivery (well ours don’t, 100% success rate so far) so if its really important or really valuable you should send it with a same day courier. It is an entirely different service to the mail service provided by Royal Mail, and you are charge according to distance rather than a flat rate fee.

  • The item stays with the driver
  • It’s locked securely in the vehicle
  • It’s delivered in the vehicle and with the driver that collected it
  • It’s not transhipped (moved to a variety of vehicles)

So, if it has to get there, use your local courier company.
