As a parcel carrier we do not take items over 2.1 metres in length. So the best way to package a fishing rod safely is dismantled, wrapped in bubble wrap and put in a strong cardboard tube.

By doing this you insure the ‘eyes’ for holding the line in place don’t get broken as the tube is in transit.
